A Little Limestone Hill In Taman Bkt Kepayang
I have lived in Taman Bukit Kepayang of Seremban2 for
about 4 years. As I walked out of my house, I could see a limestone hill. It
was within walking distance from my house.
One day, I walked up to the top of this little hill.
It took me about 10 minutes.
When I reached the top, I realised that I had
discovered a wonderful high ground, which allowed an almost 360 degree
panoramic view of the whole surrounding, other than a small section blocked by
the adjacent ‘Indian Temple Hill’. I could have a bird’s eye-view of the whole
of Taman Bukit Kepayang, the Federal Highway, Palm Mall, Kemayan Square, Tuanku
Jaafar Hospital, etc. etc.
From then on this little hill top had become my photography
haven. I spent much of my time up there, both during daybreak and sundown.
When Helen’s knees were still strong she used to go up
with me, together with our dogs, to view the sun going down and the following
twilight.
This place is so windy and so serene. It is so close
to nature. While sitting down up there waiting for night fall we felt so calm
and so relaxed. I managed to capture so many beautiful shots of dawn and dusk,
sunrise and sunset, rainbows, and the night sky at this wonderful place. The
pictures which I have taken up there are indeed sweet memories for us.
This place is in fact a gift of nature to the
residents of Taman Bukit Kepayang. It’s hard to find a parallel where one could
live next to a beautiful hill which is only within 10 minutes walking distance.
I miss you, a little unnamed limestone hill at Taman Bukit Kepayang.
